How the Marlboro Restaurant works with the community
The Marlboro Restaurant are keen supporters of Weymouth Football Club, Weymouth Golf Club, and Wessex Golf Centre.
We are proud sponsors of the main stand at the Bob Lucas Stadium, the home of Weymouth Football Club. We have also been previous shirt sponsors, player of the match sponsors, matchday sponsors, and much more. Our business owner Vincent Johnson is a regular at both home and away matches, as well as award galas and charity events hosted at the club.
We hold annual golf events at Weymouth Golf Club, supporting as many local charities that we can. For our 50th Anniversary celebration, we raised £1800 for Weldmar and Mind
We also sponsor the scorecards at both Weymouth Golf Club, and Wessex Golf Centre. We welcome you to bring your scorecards in to receive a discount on your order.
The Marlboro are also proud supports of the Billy Chip charity scheme. Billy Chip is a charity dedicated to supporting the homeless through public involvement.
We offer tokens for £2 which the customers can either leave with us or take with them to give to a homeless person. This allows any homeless person to come into our takeaway and have a hot meal and drink free of charge.
The tokens give customers the reassurance that their donation is being used specifically to help feed the homeless.For more information visit www.billychip.com

Weldmar Hospicecare is a Dorset charity providing specialist end of life care for adults with a life limiting illness, and support for their loved ones.
Julia's House is a hospice for children in Dorset with life-limiting, life-threatening or terminal conditions, who are cared for by Julia's House are unlikely to live beyond the age of 18.
Macmillan provide services for people living with cancer. They provide emotional, practical, physical, and financial support.
The Dave Ellis Charity serves military veterans in Dorset. Improving the lives of veterans, and their families through the delivery of health and wellbeing, exercise and social activities.
Mind offers information and advice to people with mental health problems and lobbies government and local authorities on their behalf.
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. Powered primarily by donations, their search and rescue service has been saving lives for 200 years.
